If you don't know what you need, don't worry! Your masseuse knows what to do, and she can combine lots of different therapies depending on your body's needs.

 

Because shoulders are so flexible, they're also quite prone to injury. Make sure that you use RICE (Rest Ice Compression Elevation) in the first 3 days of injury (or whatever is recommended by your health professional) before getting a massage for your back.
